Creating a custom-made wine tank in the guardroom of the castle of AngladeThe castle of Anglade, in Izon, Gironde, used to make its wine with the town’s cooperative. Wishing to become more independent, they intrusted Hekla with the duty of conceiving its wine tank, in partnership with an oenologist, as well as renewing the abandoned right wing of the castle. The team manages to accomplish this unprecedented feat while incorporating constraints of space, movement and the specific wine making techniques required by concrete tanks. The custom-made tanks are brought to light thanks to a series of hanging lighting. A railing, following the geometry of the tanks, guarantees the safety of the personnel working above, thus creating a modern yet genuine space.-Space : Izon, BordeauxDescription : Wine tankStatus : DoneArea : 200 m2Photo credit : Julien Fernandez
